How do I set up goals for Shopify in Google Analytics?
Asked 2 years ago
Hey guys, I have a small business that I run through Shopify. I've been told that it is beneficial to set up goals in Google Analytics to help me track my business objectives. I can't seem to figure out how, though. Can anyone help with this?

Follow these steps to set up goals for your Shopify store in Google Analytics:
- Sign in to Google Analytics.
- Head over to the Goals dialogue in the admin section.
- Choose Goal Setup as "Custom" and Goal Description as "Destination."
- Click Continue and add relevant goal details.
Once all is done with the textual input, you can execute the goal action by clicking the "Verify this goal" and then the "Save" button. However, you'll have to wait 24 hours to see any collected data.
