What are the best practices for reducing volume of returned products?

My Shopify business partner and I are trying to find ways to improve our return process and make it less costly by minimizing product returns. We are a bit concerned about how this will affect our store's performance. How can we lower the number of products returned by customers over time? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!

These are some of the best practices to reduce return rates for your store:
- Use high quality images and videos. Also, include a very detailed product description
- Encourage customers to leave reviews by offering rewards
- Prioritise your packaging to ensure that products don't arrive damaged
- Analyse your returns. Keep a data of why customers return the products and find ideas on how to improve
