What should your target ROAS be?
Asked 3 years ago
I'm not too sure how a target ROAS works. Should I be using it when I run an ad campaign on Instagram? If so, what do I set it to?

Yes, it would help if you used target ROAS for Instagram to grow your business.
Instagram has a higher ROAS rate than Pinterest. Mostly, people assume 2 or 3x to be a good ROAS. But Instagram has a 9x average retail ROAS metric. If you are focused on an indoor or automotive niche, the number goes above 15x.
However, you should also know that the success of an ad campaign depends more on how you put your ad on display rather than the platform.

ROAS measures the effectiveness of an ad campaign making it an important metric in the digital marketing industry. The target ROAS varies with the type of industry, profit margin, and the average CPC. Generally, you can target a ROAS of a 4:1 ratio which means for every $1 spent on ads you'll get $4 in revenue.
