How do you set up or add profit on Shopify?

Being an e-commerce business owner has been slightly challenging for me. I know that tracking the profit margin of my business is essential to see where it stands and how I can improve the financial health of my store. I want to understand how much I am making on each item sold after costs so I can run better sales, but I don’t know how to do that in Shopify. Thanks in advance!

To see the profit margin for a Shopify store, you'll first log in to the Shopify admin dashboard and click "Analytics". Click "reports" and choose "profit margin" which will give you a report.

To set up profit on Shopify store, you'll first need to add the cost per item to your products for profits to be generated. Click products on the Shopify admin dashboard then click the name of a product to edit it. In the pricing section, add the value in the cost per item field and click save.
To view the profit reports, click analytics and choose reports. You can choose the report that you want to see by clicking the profit margin section.
