What does a high/low AOV indicate for a Shopify business?
Asked 3 years ago
I have seen my average order value for my Shopify store fluctuate over the past couple of months. What does a high/low AOV indicate for a Shopify business?

AOV (Average Order Value) measures the average amount a customer spends on your website. It's helpful in making decisions regarding marketing costs, and product pricing. Now, a high AOV indicates that your customers are spending a lot on your store which is a good thing. While a low AOV indicates that most customers spend less on your store meaning that you're not making enough profits.
