How do I calculate my Shopify store's product return rate?
Asked 3 years ago
There has been a spike in returns for some of the items in my clothing store, and I want to figure out how I can reduce the costs that are resulting from this. I want to measure my store's average return rate so I can improve it. Does anybody know how to do this?

Computing your product return rate is no big deal. You only need to know the right number of product returns and your total items sold. Once you're equipped with these metrics, you can put the values in this formula and get your product return rate:
Product Return Rate = (Total Number of Returns / Total Number of Items Sold) X 100
