CPM vs. CPC: Which is cheaper for Facebook ads?
Asked 4 years ago
I want to make sure I keep my marketing costs as low yet as effective as possible. One of the social media platforms I want to use is Facebook. But I noticed that they run in both CPM and CPC. Which would you say is better?

Marketing changes as the market ebbs and flows, and so do you. CPC or Cost-Per-Click is a good option to start out, its the cheapest option to get yourself a good foothold in the market. CPM or Cost-Per-Impressions, is a better way to get more clicks, more reach, but is more expensive and works better when you have the follower count and profitability to justify it. This however is a general rule and some ad campaigns work better or worse depending on products and services.
